Wings Leisure Park
Wings Entertainment Park is a multi-million pound entertainment park and leisure complex proposed by the owners of Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Peel Holdings Limited.
The scheme will create 1,000 jobs with the building of a multiplex cinema, two six-storey hotels, a casino, bowling alley, wedding hall, bars, restaurants and a health and fitness centre. The 245,000 square feet park is at the junction of Speke Boulevard and Speke Hall Avenue and will have over 1100 free parking spaces.
The first hotel off Speke Hall Avenue, an Express by Holiday Inn, arrived in April 2007. There is currently no indication when the remainder of the development will commence, or when it is expected to complete.
