Imperial Halls, Byrom Street
Local builder Green Apple Urban Developments has planning permission for a prominent new residential building on Byrom Street, one of the main routes into the core of the City Centre.
The £20million scheme, designed by Liverpool architects Falconer Chester, will be in the shape of a pinwheel and will consist of three interlocking blocks, with the highest being 12 storeys tall.
It will house 114 apartments with a commercial base on the ground floor and underground parking.
