Paradise Project (Site 8) - Church Street Shopping Arcade
A major aim of the Paradise Project is to have a seamless link between the city's exiting main retail area and the new development.One way in which this will be achieved is creating a link between Peter's Lane and Church Street. This will be done by converting an existing HMV and Top Shop in Church Street into a one and two storey arcade and shop units.
The ground and first floor of the arcade will have shops and the second floor upward will be see existing buildings converted to retail use.
Work will start in Spring 2007 and is scheduled for completion in September 2008.
