Paradise Project (Site 12) - Hotel and Apartments
A landmark tall building, housing a hotel and apartments, will form the North West edge of the Paradise Project.
The eleven storey building with two further penthouse levels on Strand Street will provide a striking view from the waterfront. It will also help mask the undistinguished building behind.
The northern part of the development will have a 260 bed hotel with some residential accommodation.
At the southern part there will be 210 apartments of varying sizes.
The apartments will have balconies helping to create a safe environment by overlooking the Park. The building will have a curve, part of the grand ellipse that embraces the Park and the building is stepped down to the east. A car park is incorporated beneath and to the rear of the building.
Building work will start in the early part of 2007 and be completed in 2008.
