L1ve - Baltic Triangle

The proposed L1ve scheme, as viewed from The StrandNOTE:  This scheme is currently on hold.  Building work has been halted until further notice.

The L1 development is a £55m scheme by Windsor developments which offers a new breed of apartment. Spacious, elegant, double aspect apartments, full of light and luxury.

Located within the historic Baltic Triangle, with its evocative Manhattan island lozenge shape, the L1 development envisages a new community in the new heart of Liverpool City Centre, creating a series of stunning buildings and linked spaces on a key site between the Paradise Street and King's Waterfront development areas, supporting the aims of Liverpool Vision's emerging masterplan for the area.

Each of these developments, including L1, adds to and enhances the others.  Together they will totally transform this southern area of the City Centre into an area bustling with an attractive retail offer, commercial facilities, high quality apartments, and hotels which will vastly improve visitor options.

L1 involves the creation of three apartment blocks along the Wapping section of the dock road.

Block A is 13 storeys tall and contains 73 apartments.  Block B is seven stories tall and contains 94 apartments and block C is seven stories and contains 168 apartments.  The ground floors and mezzanines of the development contain spaces for shops and offices.  Each block is centred around a plaza that sits over two levels of basement parking for 401 cars.

Work started in October 2005 and is scheduled for completion in November 2007.  To minimise the effect of construction on the local environment and the local residents monthly meetings are being held with residents and the programme is constantly monitored.
