Paradise Project - Herbert's of Liverpool (Site 9)
On the corner of School Lane and Hanover Street, one of the most striking buildings in the city centre has been created.
Nicknamed 'The Bling Bling Building' it is the new home of Herbert's of Liverpool hairdressing salon and college.
The glass and white marble salon has been designed by Piers Gough of London architects CZWG.
Two bays stick out of the building and have a leopard skin look making it a truly distinctive structure which has been designed to sit comfortably between two classic Edwardian buildings, the Crane Building and Abney Building.
Work started in spring 2005 and was completed in April 2006.
