The Symphony, Myrtle Street

Architectural detail on The Symphony building, and the new extension built at the rear. The Symphony project saw the complete transformation of the former Ear and Eye Hospital on Myrtle Street into a stylish 58-apartment complex right in the heart of Liverpool's Cultural Quarter.

The Symphony is a classic Victorian red brick building and the development maintains the heritage of the building with contemporary features such as a modern glass extension built around a magnificent internal atrium and garden with access from all apartments and secure underground car parking.

This £9 million scheme by Downing Developments also includes 7,000 sq ft of ground floor commercial/office space.  It was completed in 2004.
