Prospect Point, Prescot Road
Now used as student accommodation for the city's universities, Prospect Point was developed on the site of former car showroom on Prescot Street, directly opposite the main entrance to the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Prospect Point offers 551 single and 12 double study bedrooms. All rooms are fully fitted to a high standard and include an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin plus separate telephone and data points for high-speed Internet access. All study bedrooms share a fully fitted kitchen and living area.
The accommodation is arranged in 4, 5, and 6 bed flats and includes 2 purpose-built rooms designed for residents with disabilities.
Ground floor retail units were included and are now understood to be fully let.
The scheme was completed circa 2000/2001.
