Paradise Project - Bus and Tram Interchange
Liverpool's new bus station is an important element in the Paradise Project.
It is sited at Canning Place and comprises 10 bus stands in twin bays which form simple uncluttered lines.
The new station is an important point of arrival to the Paradise Project, the wider city centre and waterfront and defines important pedestrian links.
The new station is a lightweight structure with glass and steel as the principal materials.
It opened in November 2005.
