Catherine Street & Parliament Street Junction/CCMS Project
This junction was identified as a priority for pedestrian safety scheme under the City Centre Movement Strategy and measures were put in place to ensure that crossing safety was enhanced.
The crossing phasing recognised that Upper Parliament Street is a main traffic corridor and reflect.
Changes involved the removal of left turn from Upper Parliament Street to Catherine Street, the closure of the top of Berkeley Street to improve junction capacity and the introduction of additional lanes to improve junction capacity.
